Accessibility Statement

Sip'Stroke Lounge is committed to making both our website and our venue accessible to everyone. We don't have it perfect — but we're committed to improving continuously, and we want to hear from you if something blocks you from using our site or visiting us.

Our commitment

Accessibility is a baseline.

We aim to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on sipstroke.com, and we apply the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) at our physical venue.

Website accessibility

What we've done.

  • Semantic HTML structure (proper headings, landmarks, lists).
  • Sufficient color contrast on text and interactive elements.
  • Keyboard-navigable: all interactive elements reachable without a mouse.
  • Mobile-responsive: works at any viewport size.
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked appropriately.
  • ARIA labels on interactive controls (mobile menu, form fields).
  • Reduced-motion support — animations honor the user's system preference.
  • No autoplay video or audio with sound.

What we're working on

  • Live closed captions for any video content we add.
  • Skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Comprehensive testing with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
  • Periodic third-party accessibility audits as the site grows.
Venue accessibility

At 5969 Dallas Pkwy.

  • The main entrance is step-free and accessible from the parking lot.
  • The dining room, bar, simulator bay, and putt-putt course are all on a single level — no stairs.
  • An ADA-compliant restroom is available.
  • Accessible parking spaces are located closest to the front entrance.
  • Service animals are always welcome.
  • Our staff is trained to provide reasonable accommodation — menu read-aloud, server assistance with mobility around the room, repositioning of furniture for chair/scooter access.

Bay accessibility

Adaptive golf is welcome.

Full Swing simulators are widely used for adaptive golf programs. Seated swings, single-arm swings, and other adaptive techniques work. Our pro is happy to work with adaptive golfers at standard lesson rates — reach out at sipstrokedallas@gmail.com to coordinate.
